Comments:  This is an interesting coin to be examined as a Mint State 63.  Under magnification the field clearly is still in mint state and there are few bag marks.  But the coin has little if any eye appeal.

 

The discoloration is due to some oily substance being left on the coin and it pretty much covers the whole surface.  This coin could easily be mistaken for one that is in Almost Uncirculated condition without close examination.

 

All in all a good coin to learn on, but no necessarily one to invest in for the long term.
