Comments:  There is a little toning to this coin but it is so early that it comes through as discoloration and there is nothing about toning to be learned from it.  So the coin is not listed among our toned coin collection.

 

This coin is clearly not an MS60 or MS61, but it also is no better than an MS62.  The reverse is better than the obverse but the obverse has enough distraction for both sides.  The scars on the face are too heavy to grade higher.
